Why Frontline Tutors? Frontline Tutors is your online tutoring marketplace where students and educators connect. Parents/students can browse through our tutors based on specific subjects, in addition, they can also submit customized tutoring requests with detailed information of their tutoring needs.

Our tutors offer 1-1 and group tutoring, they also set up specific lessons for parents/students to choose from which are available on their calendar.

Our tutor database includes tutors from various academic backgrounds and levels, ranging from elementary school to advanced college-level courses. You can browse through the tutor profiles, view credentials, read reviews and select the tutor that best fits your requirements.

Setting Up Your Profile: Please make sure you fill out all the requested information and do not forget to set your time zone.

Courses/Subjects: The platform offers various tutoring sessions available for students in elementary school, high school, college, Graduate School, and students taking various professional examinations across numerous fields including academic test preparations. 

Selecting a tutor: Once logged in, within your dashboard, you have the option to select specific tutors. This is done by clicking 'Book A Lesson', then choose 'Book A Tutor', select the subject and time, and a list of qualified tutors will appear. Each tutor’s profile has a picture and information about individual qualifications, experience, etc.

Book tutoring lessons: Once logged in, you can book lessons with tutors that specialize in a particular subject or skill, the duration and frequency will depend on the tutor and the subject matter. A tutor may offer one-time lessons for students who need help with a specific assignment or exam, while others may offer ongoing lessons that could span days, weeks or months. This is especially convenient and flexible if you need personalized attention and support, allowing you to schedule lessons that fit your busy schedule and only pay for the lessons that you sign up for.

Tutoring requests: Tutoring requests are made up of lessons and there are a few ways you can make these tutoring requests. Once logged in, within your dashboard, you can: (a) Use the Book A Tutor option and select a tutor's available times (b) Use the Book a Lesson option to book pre-set lessons.

(c) On the Frontline Tutors website, you can also submit specific tutoring requests using the Tutoring Request Form.

Tutoring Request Form: You can use this to make a specific tutoring request tailored to your unique needs.

Reports: When you attend a lesson, the tutor provides an overview of what was taught and your progress for the lessons.

Video recording: All online lessons are recorded and are accessible. Students can go back to access the session recordings for clarification when needed, and this help with better content retention. 

Dashboard: The platform is intuitive for all users and has a user guide located in the top right hand of your dashboard that explains the platform features - with most articles having accompanying short videos and or screenshots for our more visual users. Within your dashboard, you can access your tutoring requests (Jobs) with the accompanying lessons and additional information is provided when you click on each lesson. The dashboard also gives access to your calendar, documents, reports, lesson recording etc.

Canceling: When necessitated, you may request to cancel a lesson. This cancel request must be submitted at least 24-hours prior to the scheduled lesson for a refund to be processed. 

No show: If you do not attend a scheduled lesson and fail to cancel the session within the required time frame, it is considered as a 'no-show' and therefore is non-refundable.

Refunds: If you are no longer able to attend a scheduled lesson, you must cancel at least 24-hours prior to the scheduled lesson for a refund to be issued. 

Correspondence: It is strongly encouraged that all correspondence remains professional. Also, please refrain from sharing personal addresses, phone numbers, places of work, or any other personal identifying contact information for social networking sites (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.), or links to personal or business websites. 

Evaluations: You are encouraged to provide feedback for lessons.

Please note: Tutors cannot take a test nor write an exam for a student. Also, they do not do homework nor complete papers, take quizzes nor anything that is originally assigned to the student. The tutoring services cannot and will not conflict with academic honesty.
